Collaborative Piano Team
Our collaborative piano team members have performed and recorded with many of the professional singers, instrumental soloists, and chamber ensembles. During the rehearsal and performance, we serve as not only piano accompanists but also teachers and mentors for students.
Jennifer Clarkson
Jennifer has much experience in accompanying. As rehearsal pianist for full length opera stage rehearsals, oratorios, concerts, musicals and ballet productions. As accompanist for the Berky Music Academy in performances at Chatswood Concourse, ATCL & LTCL Diploma examinations and recitals at Ryde and Sydney Eisteddfods. Jennifer accompanied coloratura soprano, Lucy Bailes for the Sydney Operatic Aria Competition Finals, the APGS Choir at their End of Year Showcase, UNSW singing examinations, as well as pianist for massed choir events and instrumental graded examinations.

Jessie Tang
Jessie Tang is a professional accompanist. Her experience extends to vocal accompaniment as well as instrumental accompaniment. She studied collaborative piano with Dr. Robin Guy while doing her graduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa. She worked as an accompanist in vocal professor Dr. John Hines’s studio there, playing for undergraduate/graduate vocal students in their lessons and weekly seminars every semester. Wide ranges of repertoire were performed by these students, from Baroque to contemporary. Following that, she served as an accompanist at Hudson College, playing for the Hudson Singers and Concert Choir. In addition, she accompanied for several instrumental students’ master’s and doctoral degree recitals at the University of Iowa. As a collaborative pianist, she has experience in collaborating with strings, woodwind and brass.

Enrico Mainas
A combined 10 years of study in the Sydney Conservatorium (6 in the Conservatorium High School and currently 4 at university) has provided Enrico with a comprehensive background in accompaniment. He has experience accompanying students and colleagues in concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and exams, in contexts ranging from solo instruments to full-fledged choirs and orchestras. As a high school student, Enrico performed as an accompanist at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and in 2017 rehearsed and performed with the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir in the course of his undergraduate studies. He has received Distinction and High Distinction results for all of his tertiary accompaniment units. In his professional life, Enrico works most frequently with musicians of all ages performing in AMEB, school, and university exams and concerts, and accompanies two choirs every week at the International Grammar School, Sydney.

Olivia Urbaniak
Olivia has experience in accompanying a wide range of instruments and voices. She has accompanied for many AMEB exams and performances. She has accompanied children from as young as five years old all the way to professional musicians.

Evans Huang
Evans has a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Auckland and is in demand as an accompanist for exams, auditions and concerts. He has also been an accompanist for the University of Auckland, University of Canterbury, National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art and the New Zealand Opera School.
