Sil Jin Master of Music Therapy, University of Melbourne Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, Sydney Conservatorium of Music
Sil is an expert pianist and teacher informed by her extensive experiences in performance, pedagogy and therapy. She graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she studied piano performance under the tutelage of late Nikolai Evrov. She then went on to study music therapy at University of Melbourne and currently works as a Registered Music Therapist when she's not performing or teaching. She is very passionate about sharing the joy of music with people, often with people who don't have a lot of access to quality music making and music education. Sil's philosophy in teaching is to tailor the learning experience for each child where they are at and what special qualities they bring to their learning space and most importantly to foster love, fun and excellence towards music.
Phoebe Clark Bachelor of Music in vocal performance, Sydney Conservatorium of Music
Phoebe is a Sydney based performer and teacher specialising in Music Theatre and Classical styles. A recent graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music she holds a Bachelor of Music Performance in Classical Voice. During her time at the Conservatorium, Phoebe had the opportunity to perform in the Wollongong Spiegeltent Opera Carnivale tour and the Opera House Concert Hall for the Choir of Patti LuPone’s ‘Don’t Monkey with Broadway’ tour. Outside of her studies, Phoebe’s credits have included: ‘Clara’ in The Light in the Piazza, ‘Marty’ in Grease, ’Donna/Oolie’ in City of Angels, ‘Carrie’ in Carousel, ‘Mae’ in Tuck Everlasting (MUSE), ‘Little Mary’ in The Women (Edgewise) and ‘Meg’ Merrily We Roll Along’ (Little Triangle Co.). Phoebe has also worked on projects under the Musical Direction of Mr George Ellis including The Ladies in Black (2018) Film and ABBA Spectacular (Palais Theatre, State Theatre 2018). Phoebe is currently a Soprano Music Scholar at St Stephens Uniting Church in the city under the direction of Mr Mark Quarmby and Dr Huw Belling.
